Art Parties & Girl Scout Pottery Badge Classes We offer our clients customized art parties as well as girl scout pottery badge classes. Don't be fooled by imitators...our girl scout pottery badge class is based on the actual junior girl scout manual and our teacher is a certified NJ teacher. When it comes to educating your scouts and helping them earn their clay and ceramics badge, only the best and most thorough will do. Each package includes the following:
Package Three is ideal for gatherings where you want to eat in one place and then come to Creative Genius for your art activity. The price includes activity only. PACKAGE THREE IS A GREAT LADIES NIGHT OUT OPTION for Groups of 8 or more For Groups of Less Than 8, inquire with us and we'll work out a custom activity package for you and your friends.
ACTIVITY CHOICES; We can do a party with just about any activity you would like. All parties will be customized for the guest of honor. Included here is a list of activity choices that may help guide you in preparing your party: Polymer Clay Glossy Pens (ages 7-13--teens and tweens love this activity) Polymer Clay Glossy Pendants (ages 7-13--teens and tweens love this activity) Creative Clay Pinch Pots (great for children 8 and under-not your average pinch pot)* Creative Clay Name Signs (recommended ages 7-12 for groups of 8 to 10 children)* Clay Trivets (recommended ages 10-12-for groups of 8 to 10 children)* New! Polymer Clay Glossy Tiles (ages 7-13--teens and tweens love this activity) New! Clay Sculpture Plate (ages 7-13--teens and tweens love this activity) each child will add a small detail that describes them to the birthday child's clay plate...the piece will then be painted and fired and will be a memory to keep forever. Each child who attends the party will get to make the same small sculpture they add to the birthday child's plate for themselves as well as a keep sake. * Paint a wooden frame Paint a wooden jewelry box Finger Smear painting party Ceramic Nightlight (great for younger kids! )* Many other activities are available...check with us for details...many activities go home with party goers on the same day unless otherwise specified. Certain activities will take longer to complete. * These activities take 2-3 weeks to be fully completed. When working with clay there is drying time and two firings required before the creations are ready to be picked up. We will notify the guest of honor's parent when all pieces are completed and ready for pick up
ADULT ART PARTIES: General Party Package Information All parties must be booked at least 4 (four) weeks in advance and a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party date. Great for LADIES NIGHTS OUT, MOMS NIGHT OUT, COUPLES NIGHT OUT, RETIREMENT GATHERING and More! YOUR PARTY IS ACTIVITY ONLY You may bring your choice of beverage and cold snacks.We do not have access to any heating devices for cooking or reheating food and sternos are not permitted. We also have limited refridgeration so we recommend items that can remain out during the duration of your event. You will need to provide serving pieces, papergoods and cups for your party. A table is available for your food during your activity. Clean up of your food items is required. We provide the instructor and the activity and supplies for your group. Girl Scout Badge Class Information for Junior Girl Scouts: All classes must be booked at least 4 (four) weeks in advance and a small non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your class date. Pottery Badge Class Generally pieces will be ready 2 to 3 weeks after the pottery badge class is completed. This time frame allows for proper drying of the pieces and multiple firings required to complete the pieces. This program is designed straight from the girl scout junior badge manual. Taught by one of our pottery instructors, this class involves hands on learning as well as some instruction. Each badge class is approximately 1 1/2 hours.
There is a choice of one underglaze color per girl if the glazing option is included with a badge class. Camera Shots Badge Class This is a new badge offering, designed straight from the girl scout junior badge manual. Badge class is taught by a professional photographer and this badge involves some instruction and lots of camera interaction. This class will fulfill the minimum requirements to earn a camera shots badge. Runs approximately 1 1/2 hours per class.
