Camp Programs for Children Thank you for another great camp season!
Next Year's Camp Schedule should be available around February of 2011.
General Camp Information-FAQs Our Summer Camp Programs for Children are structured around fun and artistic projects designed to teach children new skills while striving to enhance creative thinking. The projects are geared towards children of various ages and cover many artistic mediums. Included here are answers to FAQ's:
How long do camp days and camp programs last? Our camp programs are usually one week in duration (unless otherwise noted) and camp days are 2 hours each day. The exceptions are Photo Camp which is a 4 day week but runs three hours a day. Clay camp for little ones runs one hour per day for four days. Exact dates and times for camps are included in the camp listing.
How do I reserve space for my child? Please notify us to reserve a space in any of our camp offerings. A registration form is available above or by contacting us. Camp Registration Deposits are required to reserve a space for any of our camps. The deposit required is $ 20 per child per camp and it is non-refundable. We do reserve the right to cancel a camp offering due to insufficient enrollment and if this occurs we will refund your deposit under those circumstances only. Payment in full is expected 5 days prior to all Camp sessions.
Does Creative Genius offer a discount if siblings take the same camp? If 2 children from the same family (siblings only) sign up for the same camp, we will offer a 10% discount on 2nd child's camp fee.
Is my child the right age for camps? Our recommended ages for each camp will be found with the camp program description in our brochure or in the chart at the top of this page. The recommended ages are designed to help parents find a suitable camp for their children and they are included as a guideline based on materials that will be used in the camp or skill sets that would be helpful for the child to have prior to camp. If your child does not fit into the exact age recommendation, please feel free to inquire with us anyway and we'll discuss your child's best options with you.
Are smocks required for camps? All the materials we work with in camp are washable and non-toxic but children are welcomed to bring an old t-shirt or a smock to wear over their clothes if they wish to.
Should children bring anything with them to camp? We recommend that children bring a small snack and a drink with them each day for camp. We usually break between hour one and hour two each day and a snack helps re-energize :)
I need to send someone in to pick up my child for one of the camp days-should I notify someone? Yes! we will not release campers to anyone we don't recognize so please notify us ahead of time about the alternate pick-up arrangements. And if you are running late, please give us a call. ***********************************************
